This year’s theme -The Heroes of modern UK Manufacturing
Following on from the outstanding success of the inaugural competition, the EEF have issued the following release 1st June 2011
“Our members often tell us that one of their biggest challenges is the public perception of engineering and manufacturing. At EEF, we want to see the boldness and brilliance of manufacturers recognised by the rest of the UK and beyond. So the EEF Photography Competition is championing your cause and leading the search for the heroes of modern UK manufacturing.
Our photography competition launches today – and anyone can enter. Help us to capture your heroes – the people, products, processes and places of work that show UK manufacturing at its best. Show us the images which inspire you and reflect a new and contemporary identity of manufacturing in the 21st century. We simply want the best images of modern manufacturing – everything from the talented technicians in the lab, to the skilled craftsmen and women on the shopfloor. From iconic products to fundamental and ingenious components. The largest state-of-the-art facilities to the smallest, smartest start-ups, factories and workshops. Our photography competition, now in its second year, is free to enter and open to everyone until 31 October 2011.”
