FEEDBACK for the magazine industry to be offered as Software as a Service (SaaS)

Image rich publications use Feedback to provide a usage and payment report of the photographs used in the publication. Simply drop the finished page sent for printing ( be that a PDF, Quark or InDesign file ) into Feedback and Feedback quickly analyzes and provides a detailed report on all images used.

Report details such as: where about in the publication the image was used, size, copyright owner, photographer, photo agency, etc., dramatically speeding up the process. A manual task that often takes days is now transformed into a more comprehensive report in under an hour for a typical 120 page magazine.

The reports and statistics are a cost control boon for the magazines accountants and publishers - and help get the poor photographers get paid faster!

Feedback, while already available as a server product is to be launched in the UK as SaaS. Simply log into your account, upload the pages and receive your report.

Magazines that are interested in this services should contact us on 0845 50 50 911

Road shows for 2011

The FUNDAMENTALS of Digital Asset Management

The Chartered Institute of Public Relations ( CIPR ) is represented throughout the UK via a network of regional groups to whom TDAL will be presenting DAM evenings along with sectoral group presentations. More details will be posted here as we have them.

While TDAL is ‘on the road’ visiting the CIPR we will be hosting separate events in each of the towns and cities we attend to introduce VYRE, MediaFiler, Laidback and more. As soon as each CIPR region confirms their date we’ll post more information under Events.

MediaFiler - Category sponsor - Consumer Relations

On June 1st the CIPR Excellence Awards will celebrate 26 years of recognising public relations success. The Digital Asset Lab / MediaFiler are proud to be again be sponsers of the Consumer Relations category.

User Select Board

Our User Select Boards (USB) meetings will be launched later on in the year. TDAL will be holding three or four USB's during the year around the UK for DAM users to get together - not only a chance to discuss their DAM systems but also to meet the TDAL directors & DAM developers. A real opportunity for our clients to help influence the new features, direction and development of DAM systems.
